Archos 13 A13PS Laptop Coming in April

by Joshua on March 19, 2010

We all know Archos very well when it comes to their media players. The brand continued its legacy by venturing into the laptop market and now they continue the new tradition with their new 13-inch model coming in this April. Though not much have been released on this laptop, we do know that this device carries about the same features as its predecessor. It has the same 13.3-inch display but we don’t know whether the resolution is the same or not.

We are certainly hoping that it won’t be the same and that Archos updates it to a 1366 x 768 resolution. It looks very nice in a skinny or rather, slim body and weighs just about 1.5kg. Another upgrade from its predecessor would be the Intel Pentium CULV chip found on this laptop compared to the dual-core Intel D510 chip found on the previous version. This Archos laptop will be sold with Windows 7 Home Premium Edition preinstalled. The Archos 13 A13PS will have an 8-hour of battery life with its 10-cell battery featured on this netbook. We are expecting the laptop to release in April and before that, hopefully we’ll know more on its features and pricing details.
