Great news for everyone who has been eagerly waiting for this tablet PC to hit the market, looks like the wait might be finally over as Asus will be releasing its 8-inch Eee Tablet in October.
The Asus Eee tablet measures about 8-inch and features a 64-grayscale TFT-LCD display with no backlight. According to sources, Asus will be selling the tablet with subsidies by wireless carriers but as of now nothing has been decided yet. There are also talks of fitting a built-in mobile broadband connection in the tablet. So far, we know that this tablet was supposed to work on WiFi connection.
The device comes with a resolution of 1,024×768 pixels. There’s a 2-megapixel camera on the back of the tablet. The Asus 8-inch Eee Tablet will be released in October and will be available at the price of $599. If Asus manages to get a provider for this tablet then the price of this 8-inch Eee Tablet is expected to be lower.
