Seems like the perfect time for Dell to announce its latest laptop; the Vostro 130. Not that this comes as an utterly surprise, the Vostro line of laptops from Dell is no stranger in the market. Basically, what Dell does is change the design and adds a few features here and there, and then release the new Vostro model. Let’s see what the Dell Vostro 130 has to offer to the consumers of today.

Dell’s latest laptop, the Vostro 130, has recently been introduced to consumers. It is an ultra-thin laptop to offer Hyperbaric Cooling, which is Intel’s Advanced Cooling Technology that helps to keep the device cool and quiet.

The Dell Vostro 130 is designed in a strong aluminium material with zinc hinges and a magnesium alloy palm-rest. It has a full sized keyboard and features a 13.3-inch High Definition WLED display. It comes ready with the 802.11n wireless technology. There’s also an optional WiMAX technology and Bluetooth 3.0. The Dell Vostro 130 is available now at the price of $429.

The Dell Vostro V130 is equipped with a range of connectivity options, despite the fact that it comes in a really thin package measuring at 0.65″ in the front to 0.78″ in the rear. Weighting in at 3.5 pounds, the Vostro V130 is available in the colors, Lucerne Red and Aberdeen Silver. It runs on Windows 7 and is powered by the new Intel Core ULV processor (Core i3 and Core i5).

Dell’s Vostro comes with Hyperbaric Cooling, which is an Intel Advanced Cooling Technology that helps the laptop maintain a dignified silence. It features an HDMI port for connection to a High Definition (HD) TV or projector, two USB 2.0 ports, shared USB/eSATA port and VGA. With a 13.3-inch High Definition 1366×768 WLED display, the Dell Vostro V130 is available now in stores.

The Dell Inspiron Mini 10 & Dell Inspiron 11z laptops are available already by Sprint. These two new notebook and netbook respectively will be released by Sprint as 3G & 4G embedded devices. These two devices are exclusively from the mobile network provider, which come ready with 4G technology and 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity facilities. Let’s take a closer look at what they offer.

The Dell Inspiron Mini 10 comes with a 10-inch display screen that features a resolution of 1024X600 pixels. It is powered by a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and works on an Intel GMA 3150 graphic card. It comes with a 6-cell mAh battery that last for about 9 hours.

The Dell Inspiron 11z comes with an 11.6-inch WLED HD display that features a resolution of 1366X768 pixels. Powered by a 1.2 GHz intel Core i3-330Um processor, it comes with 2GB RAM and works on HM57 Integrated Graphic card. It comes with a 6-cell battery that can last for about 6.5 hours. Seems like the hype surrounding Windows Phone 7 is not about to die anytime soon! Too bad for Apple! Back to the main topic, it looks like Amazon is already selling the Dell Venue Pro on its site. As we all know, Amazon is the number one site where one can purchase stuffs including consumer electronics that are not available yet in the market.

The Dell Venue Pro runs on the latest operating system for phones, Windows Phone 7. The device is not supposed to be released now, which is why Amazon has it on pre-order first. Amazon is also selling the Dell Venue Pro as an unlocked SIM-free device.

Talking more about the Dell Venue Pro, it comes with a 4.1-inch WVGA AMOLED screen. Amazon didn’t put a release date or rather shipping date on its UK site, but sources claim the Dell Venue Pro is expected in stores on November 8.

Good news for all Dell Streak owners, get your devices ready for the much needed upgrade! Dell Streak PC tablet will be receiving its much awaited and needed upgraded this week. The upgrade concerns its operating system that will go from Android 1.6 to Android 2.1.

Even though it’s an Adroid 2.1 upgrade, this is not the latest of the Android operating system. O2 will be releasing the upgrade over the air through its network this week. It’s puzzling why Dell won’t upgrade it to the Google’s latest operating system which was recently released. Instead, Dell will only be providing the Android 2.1 upgrade instead of the Froyo upgrade.

When the Dell Streak released, several experts commented on how the brand made a bad decision to include an old version of Android’s OS on the Streak tablet PC. Afterwards, it was said that Dell will directly upgrade the Streak to the latest Android OS, which is the Android 2.2 Froyo. But, that didn’t happen. Dell has recently announced the latest release of its Inspirion R series. The Inspirion R series are consumer laptops that include the Inspiron models 13R, 14R, 15R, 17R and M501R models. All of these Inspirion R notebooks come equipped with Intel Core i3 or i5 processors, along with optional ATI dedicated graphics, memory capability of up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, storage space of up to 640GB. They all work on the Windows 7 operating system.

Other built-in features include Wi-Fi connectivity, media card readers and SRS Premium sound. In terms of exterior enclosure, the Inspiron R series comes with brushed metal finishes together with chrome accents and smudge resistant palm rests, while it is also available in variety type of colors such as black, blue, red and pink. Dell has updated the Mini 10 netbook with the “Performance Plus Pack” option specification options by stating that the device now has the “Performance Plus” configuration. This configuration uses Broadcom’s Crystal HD chip to enable the system in giving high-definition video acceleration. In this way, lesser CPU cycles and energy are used from the Atom. On a netbook, it certainly makes a lot of difference if the device is performing better and faster specially when it comes to viewing videos.

The Dell Mini 10 netbook comes with a 10-inch screen that features a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It also has an audio controller with special support for SRS DSP audio effects. The HDD capacity has been changed on this netbook after the update and it is now a 160GB HDD from the original 250GB. The new updated Dell Mini 10 will be sold at the price of $410 and it is now available to be ordered on Dell’s online site.
