m4400-backThe Dell Precision M4400 is dubbed as the portable workstation. It is a notebook packed with many features including an Advanced 3D graphics that features NVIDIA Quadro FX 770 or Quardo FX 1700M graphics engine with 512 MB for graphics memory for functions such as video editing, animation as well as CAD manipulation.

It uses the Intel Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Extreme and Core 2 Quad Extreme Edition processors. The display featured is a 15.4” high resolution display that integrates the 100{f447e3ba84e224c28a6dd1d335ad9c602d86644eb36c6c2e50c7b50bed35fc8a} Adobe Colour Gamut RGB LED Display. Due to its business nature it also has partnered with Independent Software Vendors to certify system and application compatibility, perform testing, and ensures that every Dell Precision adheres to standard-based technologies. The Dell Precision M4400 also provides users with a range of technological features such as Dell Flash Ultra Performance Solid State Drives, security features including RAID-1 and 8GB scalable memory. It also allows users to connect it to various Latitude e-family docking systems and peripherals. The Dell Precision M4400 measures 14.1 x 10.1 x 1.0-1.3” and weighs 5.92 lbs. Its power supply is from a 130 watts AC adapter and it can either be used with a 6-cell or 9 cell extended life primary batteries and it has 84 Whr high capacity battery slice.

It comes with the 15.4 “ WUXGA True Life RGB LED Display that has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 and also features a 100{f447e3ba84e224c28a6dd1d335ad9c602d86644eb36c6c2e50c7b50bed35fc8a} Adobe Colour Gamut. The memory functions are Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM and it allows users to use the available DIMM slots that includes two memory slots that enable users to expand up to 8 GB. It utilizes the primary storage of 7200 RPM Free fall sensor hard drive up to 500GB. The Dell Precision comes with DVD-ROM, CD-RW/ DVD, DVD+/-RW and BluRay. It uses the NVIDIA Quadro FX 770M graphics with 512MB dedicated memory. The Dell Precision M4400 connects via an Ethernet Controller and its 56K v9 Internal modem or through its wireless Internet connectivity. It has several security features including a steel-reinforced cable lock slots, Media Module and Hard Drive Locks. It also has a smart card reader, optional contactless Smart Card Reader, Fingerprint Reader OR FIPS (Fingerprint Reader), TPM 1.2 and Dell Control Point Security Manager. It also had network security features such as 802.11 Wi-Fi protected access WPA, 802.11i (WPA2), VPN (Virtual Private Networks), 802.1 x with EAP Modes and compatible with CCX 4.0. . It also has Dell Control Point that enables users to manage all its wireless internet connection. It also has modular options which is E-family modular media bay that has DVD-ROM, CD-RW/DVD, DVD +/-RW and Second Hard Drive. Its chassis is made of Magnesium Alloy LCD back and its base. There are also optional web camera and backlit keyboard, DisplayPort and VGA outputs, three USB ports and a shared USB/eSATA port, both ExpressCard and PC Card slots, 5-in-1 media card reader, and Firewire port.The Dell Precision M4400 measures 14.1 x 10.1 x 1.0-1.3” and weighs 5.92 lbs.
