
Dell has updated the Mini 10 netbook with the “Performance Plus Pack” option specification options by stating that the device now has the “Performance Plus” configuration. This configuration uses Broadcom’s Crystal HD chip to enable the system in giving high-definition video acceleration. In this way, lesser CPU cycles and energy are used from the Atom. On a netbook, it certainly makes a lot of difference if the device is performing better and faster specially when it comes to viewing videos.
The Dell Mini 10 netbook comes with a 10-inch screen that features a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It also has an audio controller with special support for SRS DSP audio effects. The HDD capacity has been changed on this netbook after the update and it is now a 160GB HDD from the original 250GB. The new updated Dell Mini 10 will be sold at the price of $410 and it is now available to be ordered on Dell’s online site.
