Reviews

“The modern designed HP Pavilion dv5-1032eg, which costs between 800 and 850 Euro at the time of writing, is an interesting combination of playable hardware and a solid case. Furthermore, the keyboard is very good and so is the provided connectivity. The average hard disk and the GDDR2 memory of the graphics card should keep the price low. However, the biggest disadvantage of this notebook is its sticky touchpad. So, using an external mouse is recommended.” (NotebookCheck, 2009)

“HP backs the Pavilion dv5-1002nr with an industry-standard, one-year warranty. Toll-free telephone support is available 24-7 during your warranty period, and the HP support Web site includes real-time chat with a tech representative. If you want to troubleshoot problems yourself, you can search through the site’s thorough FAQ database.” (CNET, 2009)

“There’s much to like about the HP Pavilion dv5-1011ea and it comes pretty close to being an ideal all-round multimedia machine. Indeed, the only thing that holds it back and precludes it from an award, is the slightly disappointing screen. This doesn’t mean you should disregard it completely, its superb design, excellent feature set and reasonable price ensure that, but if you’re interested then it’s worth taking a look at one in the flesh before settling on it.” (TrustedReviews, 2009)
