Less than a month ago, there were reports of HP updating its TouchSmart tm2 laptop with a Core i3/i5. It was said that HP will release the updated laptop in June. Turns out the reports were true since the biggest online market, Amazon, already has the HP TouchSmart tm2 laptop on their preorder items list.
The new version has been named HP TouchSmart tm2-2050us. It is similar to the HP TouchSmart tm2 in many ways. It has the same touch sensitive 12.1-inch WXGA resolution LCD. It comes with Intel Integrated HD graphics. Newly added on this laptop is the Intel Core i3-330M running at 2.13GHz.
There are 4GB of DDR3 RAM and 640GB of storage. This HP laptop works on Windows 7 Home Premium as the operating system. Other features include three USB 2.0 ports, HDMI out, VGA out, Ethernet jack, and headphone/mic ports. The HP TouchSmart tm2-2050us can already be preordered on Amazon.com at the price of $949.99 but as of now, no shipping date has been announced.
