Lenovo ThinkPad SL410

The Lenovo ThinkPad SL410 is a netbook laptop that hails from Lenovo’s ThinkPad SL series of entry level notebooks targeted at the budget market. It is suitable for small and medium business customers and comes with a 14-inch screen. The Lenovo ThinkPad SL410 comes with an Intel Celeron or Intel Core 2 Duo processor and incorporates the Intel GMA 4500MHD or 4500M integrated graphics with up to 4 GB of DDR3 system memory. In terms of design, the Lenovo ThinkPad SL410 has discretely placed ports. It also sports a matte black top cover and scratch resistant exterior.

The Lenovo ThinkPad SL410 measures 32 mm ~ 36 mm x 380 mm x 247 mm (H x D x W) in dimension and weighs approximately 2.32 kg including its provided 6 cell battery. The Lenovo ThinkPad SL410 runs either on an Intel Core 2 Duo with 1066 MHz FSB or Intel Dual Core Celeron. It operated on a preloaded genuine Windows 7 Professional operating system. Alternatively, it can also run on a genuine Windows XP Professional operating system. There is also a 14 inch HD VibrantView display that is also LED Backlit. In terms of graphic features, the Lenovo ThinkPad SL410 incorporates an integrated Intel X4500 graphics card. As for system memory, the Lenovo ThinkPad SL410 incorporates DDR3 technology with a data bus speed of 1067 MHz and can support upgrades up to 8 GB. There is also an internal hard disk drive with a capacity of 320 GB with 7200 RPM and APS. It can also support a hard drive that has a capacity of up to 500 GB with 5400 rpm. The Lenovo ThinkPad SL410 is powered by a 6 Li-ion battery. For security purposes, the Lenovo ThinkPad SL410 has an integrated fingerprint reader to avoid unauthorized access. It comes with a 1 year depot warranty with the option to extend up to 3 years. The Lenovo ThinkPad SL410 also comes with preloaded software including Roxio Creator Small Business Edition, Adobe Reader, Skype, ThinkVantage Access Connections, Rescue and Recovery, Power Manager and Presentation Director. Additional features include an integrated 2 mega pixel camera situated right above the display, audio speakers with 2W power output and one-touch recovery. There are also two video outputs consisting of HDMI and VGA, 3 USB 2.0 ports and 1 eSATA combo, as well as a 7-in-1 Media Card Reader. Besides that, the Lenovo ThinkPad SL410 also has a DVD Recordable optical drive. Not only that, the Lenovo ThinkPad SL410 also has a spill resistant keyboard as well as a touchpad that incorporates TrackPoint, UltraNav and multitouch technology. There is also a digital microphone which comes with a microphone mute button. The Lenovo ThinkPad SL410 is also Energy Star 5.-, EPEAT Gold, and Climate Savers Certitified. Besides that, the Lenovo ThinkPad SL410 is also the first ThinkPad to use post consumer recycled plastics and renewable energy accessories. In terms of wireless connectivity, the Lenovo ThinkPad SL410 comes with integrated Mobile Broadband, WLAN 802.11 n draft, WIMax, Bluetooth and Gigabit Ethernet (10/ 100/ 1000) capabilities.
