RNB MT10

Lightweight and rugged, the RNB MT10 is a PC that is targeted at healthcare professionals on the front lines of care. The RNB MT10 is touted to enhance workflow, productivity and operational efficiency in order to help reduce costs, improve clinical decision-making and quality of care, and increase patient safety. The RNB MT10 is a tablet made for healthcare incorporating the Intel’s new Mobile Clinical Assistant design in a ruggedized and weatherized package designed for clinicians. With an IP-54 rating for ingress protection, the RNB MT10’s enclosure withstands alcohol, bleach, iodine, and common hospital disinfectants. The tablet PC features a 10.4 inch XGA (1024×768) anti-glare LCD with touchscreen that automatically rotates based on orientation and adjusts brightness based on ambient illumination. The Intel® Core™ 2 Solo CPU provides processing power to handle the numerous integrated I/O devices, including RFID reader and barcode scanner. Mobile users will appreciate integrated 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless and optional 3G wireless technologies. The unit also comes with data protection and recovery features of BIOS enabled Computrace® which provides loss/theft recovery and asset tracking capabilities.

Display
The 10.4 inch TFT XGA LCD (1024 x 768) with resistive touchscreen, LED Backlight display is powered by an Intel® 945GME Integrated Graphic Controller and supports Intel® Dynamic Video memory (DVMT) from Main Memory with 224 MB Shared Memory (Intel® Driver Dynamic Changed). It features 240nit standard brightness, has the ability to automatically adjusts brightness of LCD to compensate for current lighting conditions, automatically orient to landscape / portrait mode (0° – 90° – 180° – 270°) and features an anti-glare glass. The tablet features a resistive touchscreen for finger and stylus input which can be manually enabled/disabled (there is also a automatic disable function). It also has a Palm Rejection function.

Hard Disk
The RNB MT10 supports a 1.8 inch 4200 RPM 60 / 80 / 120GB HDD with G Sensor to support Park Function During Free Fall as well as an optional 32GB Solid State Hard Drive.

Communication
The RNB MT10 supports Mini PCI Express Card Wireless 802.11 a / b / g / n wireless connectivity that supports CCX Function (Roaming). It also has Bluetooth V2.1 & Support for Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) and comes with optional 3G Module for WWAN

I/O Devices and Ports
The RNB MT10 features a 2 mega pixel web camera with auto focus, optional barcode scanner, supports 1D / 2D Barcode and optional RFID Reader which supports ISO 14443 & ISO 15693. It also supports a Docking Connector (Contact Pin Type), two battery slots and DC-IN jack.

Audio
It supports a built in 1 Watt speaker and built in Stereo Microphone Array.

Battery
The RNB MT10 features two compartments for installation of two hot swappable batteries which can provides users with up to 5 hours of usage (a 3 cell lithium ion 2400 mAh gives about 2.25 hours).

Operating System
The RNB MT10 is compatible with Microsoft® Windows® XP Tablet PC Edition or Microsoft® Windows Vista® Business Edition operating system.

Security
The security features on the RNB MT10 includes a Finger Print Reader and Computrace® Enabled BIOS for use with Lojack for Laptops recovery software/hardware Service (Coming Soon).

Warranty
The unit is covered by a 3 year warranty with optional Upgrade Service Plans and Extended Warranties.

Special Upgrade Options
Users can opt for the following upgrades on the MT10: up to 32 GB of Solid State Drive storage options, Computrace® and Lojack for Laptops® protection (coming soon), internal 3G WWAN Module, Docking Station with 5°-25° free angle tilt and internal power supply, integrated 1D/2D barcode scanner or integrated RFID reader.

The unit’s enclosure meets IEC 60529 IP- 54 Standard and can resist alcohol (80% or Less), bleach, iodine and common hospital disinfectants. It supports a fanless chassis and is lightweight and ergonomic design with integrated handle.
