The Sony VAIO Micro PC UX Premium Series VGN-UX390N is a notebook that is powered by a 1.33 GHz Intel® Core™ Solo Processor U1500 Ultra Low Voltage with 533 MHz front bus speed, 2 MB L2 Cache, 1 GB (1 GBx1) PC2-3200 400 MHz DDR2 memory and Intel® Centrino® Mobile Technology.
It features the Intel® 945GMS chipset, Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950 graphics card and 224 MB Total Available Graphics Memory video RAM. Networking and modem features on the VGN-UX390N is supported by integrated Bluetooth® Technology, fast Ethernet (RJ-45) using Port Replicator or VGA/LAN Adapter, 10Base-T/100Base-TX Ethernet speed, integrated Wireless Wide Area Network (WAN) accessing Cingular Wireless National EDGE Network with SmartWi™ technology (Wireless WAN and Wireless LAN radio do not transmit simultaneously) mobile broadband and Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (802.11 a/b/g) wireless LAN. The notebook features 32 GB NAND flash memory, a 4.5 inch 1024 x 600 resolution wide SVGA LCD, touch screen display. It has one DC-In, one headphone jack, a Memory Stick® Media Slot that supports Memory Stick DUO™ media with MagicGate® functionality, a microphone input, a port replicator connector and one USB 2.0 port. The VGN-UX390N features two built-in cameras, a 0.3 megapixel one the back and a 1.3 megapixel on the front with built-in microphone. The VGN-UX390N is powered by a standard capacity, lithium-ion battery (VGP-BPS6) that provides up to 1.5 – 3.5 hours (Standard Battery) / 3.0 – 7.0 hours (Large Capacity Battery) of computing time. The VGN-UX390N Micro PC is a handheld device that uses flash memory to provide portability on the go. The device features built-in wireless capabilities and expansion options which include a port replicator, integrated camera and microphone that lets users stay connected with friends and family. With an Intel® Core™ Solo ULV processor and Windows Vista® Business operating system, the VAIO® UX Premium is designed for mobile computing. The device also features a 4.5 inch widescreen display with XBRITE™ LCD technology, Intel® Core™ Solo Ultra Low Voltage processor and Windows Vista™ Business operating system, integrated flash memory and wireless connectivity via Wide Area Network (WAN) technology. This technology allows users access to the Cingular Wireless national EDGE network to extend wireless coverage beyond LAN access networks and hotspots. The mobile broadband capability allows users to stay connected wherever there is cellular coverage and not just on hot spots. Users can stay in contact and communicate with friends and family on the go with this device. This can be done via the VAIO® UX Premium Micro PC’s two built-in digital cameras that are integrated to let users capture, store, and share digital photos or take part in live video chats. Users can view media in any orientation of choice, in bother landscape and portrait on the VAIO UX. The Bluetoot® wireless connectivity on the device also allows for synchronization with an array of devices that are also Bluetooth compatible. This facilitates transfers of music, photo and document files from mobile phones or any other compatible device.
